What an exciting time it was for me to explore the offerings of the Universe!
Today,2012_the offerings continue.I accept the challenges of "The Universe"_the chance to grow and explore its offerings.
I saw the musical "Hair"(1967) with it's memorable song "Aquarius"and memorable line_"This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius"_ it still lingers in my "little grey cells" today! It created a phenom to the worldwide stage. Supposedly the conjunction of Uranus (ruler of Aquarius) and the coming age,with Pluto(ruler of the masses)which ultimately brought radical change in the 1960's created this consciousness.
However, as the song related in 1967, it is only considered by astrologers as the "dawning" or "cusp" of the Age, with the full strength of the Age not occurring until some time in the future. Fast FORWARD to the future ...NOW! After being witness to the end results of America's Election last evening & the crowds of people at President-Elect Obama celebration site_ reflecting a rainbow of colors,generations and genders... Is this still the "dawning or the cusp"? What say you? I was moved once again by this recurring thought..."the dawning of the age of Aquarius".Here's the lyrics & song:
Now the consensus is that "Traits of Aquarius" such as being 'humanitarian' but at the same time 'unemotional' may indicate the emergence of active intergovernmental organizations and global solidarity movements.

Alternatively, it may indicate individual New Age Spiritual Awakening en masse, which although may not be organized, forms a worldwide 'humanitarian' yet 'unemotional' era of spiritual clarity and spontaneous friendship..which bring about a "New Movement". I'm reminded of the book & movie "The Celestine Prophecy"..deep on so many levels! You could say,that movement is NOW captured in a Movie release come Dec.21,2012.It is called :

Indeed,in my head it may all seem coincidental! However,an eclipse "IS" a natural phenomenon.
Nevertheless, in some ancient and modern cultures, solar eclipses have been attributed to supernatural causes or regarded as bad omens. A total solar eclipse can be frightening to people who are unaware of its astronomical explanation, as the Sun seems to disappear during the day and the sky darkens in a matter of minutes.
Because it is dangerous to look directly at the Sun, observers should use special eye protection or indirect viewing techniques when viewing a partial eclipse, or the partial phases of a total eclipse. It is safe to view the total phase of a total solar eclipse with the unaided eye and without protection, however.

Dawning or Cusp_or_Supernatural_or_Natural,Blessing or Omen,Bogeyman,etc..Whenever the Sun covers itself as on November 13,2012_I'm all for it!

The temperatures are getting milder,one is able to comingle with nature outside,"Sweaty Pearls of Grey"(maybe a new book title)are taking leave of one's forehead,barely there clothes are taking a backseat to sweaters,turkey's are getting ready to be Roasted(Yes Sir & Ma'am)_I'm a Happy woman!
Meantime_Do ponder this phenom mentioned above_I consider it Food For Thought!
